Weighing Scale Retribution Reaches Target

Weighing scale testing retribution Rp 7.9 billion has been realized by Jakarta Small Medium Enterprises Cooperation and Trade (KUKMP) Dept.'s Metrology Technical Management Unit (UPT) in January-June periods. This number exceeds the target Rp 4.2 billion for this year.

We predict it could exceed 200 percent from target by the end of 2017

Jakarta KUKMP Dept.'s Metrology UPT Head, Johan Taruma Jaya said, most of retribution achieved from weighing scale testing is from traditional market and supermarket.

"It is potential to increase. We predict it could exceed 200 percent from target by the end of 2017," he said, Wednesday (8/2).

He explained, the high retribution can be reached because metrology in other areas are vacuum thus sometimes his side is asked to conduct weighing scale testing in several areas.

"In 2016, we gained Rp 4.8 billion. It exceeded 117 percent of our target," he cl osed.
